Shahid Afridi is a flashy all rounder introduced to the international cricket when he was just 16 year old as a legspinner. He scored the fastest one-day hundred in his maiden innings. He blossomed into one of modern-day cricket's most dangerous players and a vital cog in Pakistan's revival in 2005. He scored a wonderful century against India in Kanpur in April 2005. A few weeks before, by smashing the joint second fastest Test half-century at Bangalore and taking crucial last day wickets, Afridi had helped Pakistan memorably level the Test series. He is at his best when forcing straight and at his weakest pushing at the ball just outside off. The biggest improvement in his performance has been his legspin. His all round skills are completed by alert fielding and among the strongest arms in the game.
Shoaib Malik is a tall off spinner with short-stepping run-up to the doosra or wrong'un his attributes. Shoiab has a good number of one-day hundreds under his belt often going in at No. 3 and is a regular member of Pakistan’s ODI line-up. He played two matches the 2001-02 season and then came back to play three matches against Bangladesh and South Africa in 2003-04.
Mohammad Yousuf is another batsman who Pakistan would be banking upon in its World cup campaign. He is a stylish batsman and can make any attack in the world look ordinary.

Younis Khan is a middle order batsman for the Pakistan Cricket team. A middle-order batsman, Younis Khan is fearless, as befits his Pathan ancestry. He plays with a boom and is especially strong in the arc from backward point to extra cover. His main weaknesses are playing away from the body and leaving straight balls. He came back for the one-day series against India, but failed to cement a place in the Test side. He took a world-record four catches in one innings as substitute during Pakistan's demolition of Bangladesh in the 2001-02 Asian Test Championship. He as selected as the Vice-captain for his tour to India.
Salman Butt offers drives and cuts through the arc between extra cover and backward point are inevitably flicked, often scooped and it is a high-scoring region. Salman has a confident air about him, a spikiness and is one of the few younger players confident when speaking English. He came into the limelight in 2004 where he first scored an ODI century against India at Eden Gardens and then went further by scoring a fifty and a maiden Test century in Sydney later in the year. His 2005 year ending game unveiled a fresh look of this dynamic player as he scored two fifties in the Tests. He is wonderful at strokeplay and is capable of providing electrifying starts when needed but with the tightening of his defense.

5 Fantasy Cricket Matches
July 13th - August 7th 2010
Picking your Dream Team and Deciding when they Bat & Bowl!
- Select 14 players for your fantasy cricket match
A starting 11 and 3 Substitutes - You can select a maximum of 8 players from any country
- There are no restrictions on player types
- Use the Up and Down Arrows to change the Batting and Bowling Orders of any selected player
Standard Cricket Batting Rules Apply
- Your team can bat a maximum of 50 overs
- Once 300 balls are faced , batsmen's strike rate will be used to determine his score for your fantasy cricket match.(Shown in the fantasy column)
- Runs scored by remaining batsmen in the batting order will be IGNORED
Example
In the example on the right, notice Afrid has scored 100 runs of 50 balls, but in the fantasy column only 20 runs are counted, this is because the bastmen above him in the assigned batting order have played 290 balls, leaving Afridi to face only 10 balls out of the available 300 balls in a 50 Over game!!
Using his stirke rate in this innings we know he would score 20 runs in 10 balls.
So most of Afridi's great innings has gone to waste for this fantasy team, had he been assigned a higher batting order say in place of Jayawardena or Angleo Matthews all his runs would have counted and the fantasy team would have scored much more than 240 in the 50 overs.
Also notice Sangakkara, Mortaza and Murali's scores are being ignored this is becuase 50 overs have already been played by the bastmen above so their are no balls left in this fantasy match for these players to bat!!
So think before assigning your batting order!!
